Inventor and entrepreneur, Mandy Haberman of Haberman Products, is on the jury of the 11th edition of the Oscars of Invention, the 2016 European Inventor Award at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.
Every year the European Inventor Award brings together some of the world's brightest innovators, as well as leading figures from business, politics, media and the sciences.
About the Award:
The European Inventor Award, launched by the EPO and European Commission's DG Enterprise and Industry in 2006, gives inventors the recognition they deserve. It is an incentive to all other potential winners. It protects ideas and encourages innovation.
The driving force and motor behind the innovation process are people with a passion for discovery. Without the inquisitive mind, the search for new ideas, and creativity of human beings there would be no inventive spirit and no progress. As one of the most prestigious competitions of its type, this award pays tribute to the creativity of all inventors who, in applying their technical, scientific and intellectual skills, make a major contribution to technological impact, economic growth, and improvement in people's daily lives.
